Shinju Matsuri has always been a festival based on Broome’s unique community spirit, cultural diversity and vibrant history.
This year, 2013, the festival celebrates its 43rd anniversary and although we have grown to become a premier event, Shinju Matsuri will always encapsulate the values of the Broome community.
Vision: To deliver a festival that celebrates Broome by involving local performers and artists, honouring our cultural and pearling history, encouraging community participation and displaying our town as a desirable tourism destination.
